General Communications, Inc., a privately held communications technology company, was formed in April, 1957.

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, General Communications employs about 80 people and is principally engaged in the design and integration of advanced audio and visual communications systems.

General Communications is led by Harold M. Haugen, Chairman, Ingolf J. C. de Jong, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Dan L. Erickson, Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer.

As a systems integrator and information technology company, General Communications provides communications products and services to a wide variety of customers both nationally and internationally. Since its beginning, General Communications has provided thousands of communications solutions to customers in every state in the United States of America, in every province in Canada, and in numerous countries around the world.
